Titles available to UK academics under NESLi2 SMP
Future Science Group and JISC Collections are pleased to announce that they have successfully entered into an agreement to offer journals published under the Expert Reviews and Future Medicine imprints to the UK Academic community under the new NESLi2 SMP (Small and Medium sized Publishers) initiative (http://www.nesli2.ac.uk/smp-information.html).
The Future Science Group publishes 34 journal titles under the Expert Review and Future Medicine imprints. The Expert Review series includes 17 titles spanning the key therapeutic areas of medicine, providing comprehensive and highly-structured clinical guidance to industry-leading publication times. The series will soon include an additional title – Expert Review of Hematology – launching in October 2008. The further 17 titles published by Future Medicine explore progress at the cutting edge of our understanding of disease and the opportunities for therapeutic intervention, and place these advances in context for medical practice.
Dr David Hughes, Publisher at the Future Science Group, said, “The UK has always been at the forefront of biomedical research, for example in areas such as stem cell science and regenerative medicine, and for centuries has pioneered advances in clinical practice. We have a growing number of titles of huge relevance to the clinical community, and we are delighted that, through JISC Collections and the NESLi2 licensing scheme, we can offer our journals to academic and clinical establishments in the UK”.
