Future Science Group signs with Ingenta
Future Science Group has reached an agreement with Ingenta, the global research gateway, to provide electronic access to over 20 review journals published under their imprints Future Drugs and Future Medicine.
From January 2006 Ingenta will provide institutional subscribers with access to all journals published by Future Drugs and Future Medicine through its aggregation service (www.ingentaconnect.com). Coverage includes the full catalogue, including back issues as well as current issues. This includes all titles in the Expert Review series, flagship title Pharmacogenomics and latest launch for 2006, Regenerative Medicine. Further titles are planned for launch in 2006 and 2007 and these will also be available through Ingenta as part of the ongoing relationship.
The Future Science Group publishes commentary and analysis from international opinion leaders on topical issues, cutting-edge research and emerging developments in healthcare. It provides the clinical community with a unique source of high-quality, authoritative reviews on the best clinical practice.
"At Future Science Group we are committed to offering users the highest standards and breadth of access to the evaluated content we offer across the Future Drugs and Future Medicine programs”, said Dr David Hughes, Publisher of the Group. He added, “We have our own dedicated websites built on the Atypon Literatum platform offering excellent functionality for the user and library administration staff alike. However, we are aware that certain centers do seek a one-stop shop solution and Ingenta have certainly built an extensive constituency of users in this regard”.
The Group’s dedicated websites built can be found at www.future-drugs.com and www.futuremedicine.com.
Between the two journal programs, Future Science Group will publish more than 2,000 full reviews in 2006. All articles are subject to rigorous peer review using three independent assessments. A dedicated in-house editorial team ensures that this critical mass of evaluated material is published with industry-leading publication times.
Access to content is available to institutions on a subscription basis. Non-subscribing institutions can trial Future Drugs and/or Future Medicine content by emailing Stephen Galt, Sales Manager, Future Science Group at info@future-drugs.com.
