Nominations now open for the Bioanalysis Rising Star Award (formerly the New Investigator Award)

Bioanalysis Zone has opened nominations for the Bioanalysis Rising Star Award – a prestigious annual award recognizing the most promising early-career scientists in the field of bioanalysis.

The newly named Bioanalysis Rising Star Award (BRSA; formerly the New Investigator Award) recognizes and promotes the work of highly talented researchers. Sponsored by Waters Corporation (MA, USA), the award offers a springboard to help early-career scientists establish themselves in the exciting world of bioanalysis.

Over the past 8 years, Bioanalysis Zone, the premier online community providing bioanalysts with essential resources, has been proud to offer nominees and winners a platform to showcase their talent.

The award offers the winner the chance to promote and gain recognition for their bioanalytical work and research. The winner will receive:

  • US$1000

  • A trip to the European Bioanalysis Forum in Barcelona, Spain to present their work

  • A featured profile and their own webinar on Bioanalysis Zone

  • 1-year subscription to Bioanalysis

  • Complementary open access publication of their next accepted paper

Applicants for this year’s BRSA can either nominate themselves or be nominated by a fellow colleague, but each nomination must be accompanied by a supervisor’s comment. Nominees can be from academia or industry, in any area of bioanalysis, but must be aged 35 years or under, or be in the first 5 years of their bioanalytical career.

To nominate, click here or contact Naamah Maundrell, Editor of Bioanalysis Zone, at n.maundrell@future-science.com for further information.

Nominations close: Saturday 31st March
