Infectious Diseases Hub announces its first ever photography competition, ‘Infectious Images’.
Infectious Diseases Hub today announced that entries are now open for the 2018 ‘Infectious Images’ photography competition. The competition hopes to give individuals the opportunity to share images that represent their work and to showcase the cutting edge research occurring in the field of infectious diseases.
“We welcome all images that explore infectious diseases – from the molecular to the clinical level,” commented Martha Powell, Editor of Infectious Diseases Hub. “Whether it be in a hospital, laboratory or in the field, we’d love to see anything from microscopy images to photos demonstrating research in action!”
The entries will initially be shortlisted by a judging panel; the winner will then be selected from this shortlist by a public vote. The winner will receive:
$100 Amazon voucher
The winning image will be printed on Infectious Diseases Hub’s 2019 conference bags
Their photo featured on Infectious Diseases Hub alongside an interview about the photographer and the research behind the photo
