Submit your article proposal – first-draft submission deadline of 15 February, 2018

An upcoming special issue of the Future Science Group Journal of Comparative Effectiveness Research will seek to explore the interface and relationship between Comparative Effectiveness Research (CER) and Decision Analysis (DA) to describe the role and value of DA in CER, and to help envision a future of the field of CER that includes both methodologies working synergistically to improve the evidence-base for decision makers. The issue is guest edited by Professor Alvin Mushlin (Weill Cornell Medicine, USA), supported by a team of Associate Editors including Professor Andrew Briggs (University of Glasgow, UK), Dr Dan Ollendorf (Institute for Clinical and Economic Review, USA), Professor Gillian Sanders-Schmidler (Duke University, USA) and Professor Uwe Siebert (UMIT – University for Health Sciences, Medical Informatics and Technology, Austria).

Articles of current research illustrating the complementary aspects of these two areas are now being welcomed for the issue, which provides a first-draft submission deadline of 15 February, 2018. All submitted manuscripts will be considered by the Editors and undergo full independent peer review.
